The working hours of Cairo’s subway service will return to its normal schedule on Tuesday, according to Ali Fadaly, head of the Egyptian Co. For Metro Management & Operation.
The decision comes after the end of the holy month of Ramadan followed by Eid al-Fitr feast on Sunday, Fadaly explained.
Egypt usually extends the subway’s working hours by one hour to 2:00 am.
Fadaly said that last trains on the capital’s main two lines will move by 12:30 am maximum and stop completely at 12:50 am.
Trains begin operating at 5:15 am, Fadaly explained.
