Endowments Ministry Undersecretary Mohamed Ezz said the ministry has issued strict instructions to preachers not to exceed 20 minutes in their Friday sermons, adding that no unlicensed preacher is allowed to give sermons.
“The Salafis always try to do that,” he told Al-Mehwar channel.
Ezz also said that the Friday prayer will only be allowed in big mosques except in a few cases that need special permission.
