The local stock market made some gains on Thursday from yesterday's session, with the main EGX30 index up .55 percent.
The index saw around 25,000 transactions with a trading value of more than LE448 million by the end of trading Thursday
Total market capitalization reached LE376.9 billion, a gain of LE2.8 billion from the day before. .
However, the EGX70 index for small and medium shares fell 1.75 percent to 465 points, while the broader index EGX100 also fell 1.21 percent to 790 points.
Some analysts predicted the market value and trading volume would continue to fall this week amid ongoing political unrest.
