Stock market gains LE900 million

Egyptian stock indexes increased collectively on Wednesday after purchases by Arabs and Egyptians, in contrast to sales by foreign investors.
 
The primary EGX30 index increased by 0.42 percent, reaching 6,488.72 points, while the EGX70 index for small and middle-sized shares increased by 0.32 percent, recording 527.46 points. The broader EGX100 index increased by 0.37 percent, recording 888.99 points.
 
Total trading reached LE288.9 million after 17,400 transactions. Market capital gained LE900 million, reaching LE 411.8 million.
 
Observers said the market remained unaffected by political incidents and university riots, including those at Al-Azhar University.
