The main EGX30 index fell by 0.45percent to close at 8333.1 points, the small and medium EGX70 index fell by 0.84 percent to 610.3 points, and the broader EGX100 index fell by 0.87 to 1065.81 points.
Total trading reached LE1.2 billion and the market capital lost around LE2 billion to close at LE483.2 billion.
