State Radio and Television Union President Sami al-Sherif denied media reports that he issued a ban on airing love scenes in Egyptian and foreign movies.
“I would be tampering with our artistic heritage if I issued such a thing,” he said.
Al-Sherif said the union is producing ten series to be aired during Ramadan.
