The State has paid great attention to strengthening the concept of citizenship and establishing the principles of equality and non-discrimination among all citizens, said the Cabinet Media Center.
The Cabinet Media Center added that the State has enacted legislation and laws that guarantee the freedom to practice religious rituals for various members of society and exercise their rights, including working to legalize the status of churches, in addition to reviving the path of the Holy Family, which is a symbol of coexistence between religions and reflects Egypt’s position as a global religious and tourist destination.
According to infographic published by the Cabinet’s Media Center, the results of the main committee’s work in churches legalization, has resulted in regularization of 3,453 churches and buildings.
