State minister for military production, US delegation from UltraMed Corp discuss bilateral cooperation

State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salah al-Din Moustafa had a meeting with a US delegation from UltraMed company to discuss boosting bilateral cooperation.

The delegation was led by Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Al Barry. The meeting took place at the headquarters of Helwan Diesel Engines Company (Factory 909).

During their meeting, the minister said the Military Production Ministry and its affiliated companies and units work on implementing President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s directives to integrate with the local and international private sector in various areas of manufacturing.

This falls within the State’s policy to develop and adapt the available manufacturing, technical and technological capacities and capabilities to support sustainable development strategies, he added.

The meeting took up joint cooperation between the two sides in the field of assembling and manufacturing medical equipment in Egypt.

The minister also posted the delegation on the manufacturing, technological and technical capabilities of military production companies.

For his part, Barry lauded the development in Egypt in all fields that took place in the recent years, in spite of the long-lasting international events and their profound impacts on the global economies.

The meeting was attended by Emile Helmy Elias, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Authority for Military Production, as well as a number of the ministry’s leaders.
