The Judges Club emergency general assembly meeting said it altogether rejects proposals to separate the disciplinary judiciary from the State Council, adding that the current judiciary system does not mean having endless judicial entities.
The assembly also rejected what it called attempts to dismantle the State Council and strip it of its jurisdiction, including its disciplinary function. It added that the council will foil all those attempts.
The assembly also said that the Administrative Prosecution never requested to have disciplinary judiciary powers added to its functions, but only requested powers stated in the 2012 constitution.
The assembly said it will be in session until this issue is resolved and the State Council restores its functions.
