A lawsuit filed by residents of Zamalek demanding the cancellation of the proposed metro line project was dismissed by the State Commissioners of the Administrative Court after the court recommended turning it down in favor of the metro line.
The National Authority for Tunnels has carried out all the necessary studies before the start of the project, taking into account the soil's conditions, the condition of the buildings and surrounding facilities, and choosing the most appropriate path for the metro, stated the State Commissioners' report.
The report called on the National Authority for Tunnels to take all necessary measures while implementing the project.
