Standard & Poor’s revises its outlook for Egypt

Standard & Poor’s has revised its outlook for Egypt to stable, and affirmed its credit rating at ‘B-/B’.

The agency said that Egypt’s high external and domestic financing requirements make it vulnerable to current volatility in global financial markets.

It added that the outlook balances Egypt’s commitment to reforms with its exposure to slowing global growth and volatile external financing conditions, according to the CNBC.
