Governor of South Sinai Khalid Foda held a meeting on Tuesday in the city of Sharm El Sheikh with the Georgian tourist delegation alongside the action shooting team that will film a Georgian series of 700 episodes in one of the governorate’s resorts.
Foda called on Georgian tourists to visit tourist sites in Egypt during a press conference with the tourist companies.
Foda will head to the Georgian city Batumi in April upon receiving an invitation from Mayor of the city Lasha Komakhidze. He will also witness the filming of a movie about Sharm El Sheikh city to promote tourism in Egypt.
He added that South Sinai governorate would establish an art symbol or film artwork on Georgia in Sharm El Sheikh and also called on the Georgian tourist delegation to visit Saint Catherine City and play a football game with Sharm al-Shiekh’s football team.
Head of the Georgian tourist companies said that the number of Georgians visiting Egypt has reached 25,000 annually, describing Sharm al-Sheikh city a “city of paradise.”
