A group dubbed Soldiers of Egypt claimed responsibility for Cairo University Wednesday blasts saying it was targeting security officials who took part in Nahda Square dispersal.
The bombing of the third explosive had been postponed because a number of civilians gathered but was detonated after they distanced themselves, the group said in a statement on Facebook.
Three blasts killed a senior Giza security official and injured several others outside Cairo University on Wednesday.
