An army soldier was shot dead by a sniper late Saturday in Sinai, according to security sources.
Mostafa Nabil Zain was shot while manning a checkpoint in the Qasima region in central Sinai, said the source.
The soldier was rushed to a hospital but died of his wounds en route to the hospital.
