Meteorologists expect a slight decline in temperatures on Tuesday in the north of the country. However, hot weather is expected to prevail along the northern coasts, in the Delta and in Cairo.
Low- and medium-level clouds will appear above the northwestern coasts, as well as in the south, to be accompanied by a chance of rain in some parts.
Visibility will be reduced in the morning in the Delta, Cairo and canal provinces. Moderate northeasterly winds will blow.
Highs of 34 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 26 degrees in Alexandria.
Height of Red Sea and Mediterranean waves will reach between 1.5 to two meters. Northwesterly winds will blow on both seas.
Extremely hot weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime, cooling off at night.
Highs of 42 degrees are expected in Qena and 43 degrees in both Luxor and Aswan.
