The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects a slight rise in temperatures on Saturday with the weather growing hot during the day in Greater Cairo, warm on the northern coasts, and hot in Upper Egypt.
Active winds are expected in the northern parts of the country up to Greater Cairo, and areas of South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt intermittently.
Greater Cairo is expected to reach 28C during daylight hours.
Weather maps showcase mist forming on highways, agricultural roads, and near water bodies, starting from four am until nine am, which may grow dense on some roads and lead to reduced visibility.
The EMA advised motorists to stop driving in the event of poor visibility, turn on the fog lights, increase distances between cars, use windshield wipers constantly, open the car windows slightly to prevent water vapor from condensing inside and alter other drivers with the car horn.
Saturday’s Temperatures:
- Northern coasts: 23C
- Cairo and Lower Egypt: 28C
- South Sinai: 30C
- Northern and central Upper Egypt: 30C
- Southern Upper Egypt: 32C
