The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects hot weather to prevail on Sunday, during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts, growing extremely hot in South Sinai and the southern parts of the country.
Moderate weather will prevail at night in most areas of the country, with hot weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Weather maps revealed a slight and temporary drop in temperatures in most areas on Sunday and Monday, but will rise again on Tuesday.
Temperatures in Greater Cairo on Sunday, are expected to reach 36C during the day, reaching 43C in the south of the country.
Satellite images also revealed wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, South Sinai, and the south of the country.
