Zagazig University saw clashes on Wednesday between students for and against the Muslim Brotherhood. Six students were injured, including two who received gunshot wounds.
The students supporting the Brotherhood were marching on campus and chanting slogans against the military, which provoked other students and led to the clashes.
Security forces stepped up their presence outside campus and closed the gates of the university.
