Six people were killed and 10 others injured when a microbus overturned on the Aswan Western Desert Road in front of Fares village, northern Aswan, and ambulances rushed to the scene.
The microbus was transporting 16 people, who were coming from a wedding party in the Esna City, Luxor Governorate, on their way to the Nasr al-Nuba City in Aswan, when the microbus overturned in front of Fares village, Kom Ombo City, Aswan.
The dead were taken to the Aswan General Hospital’s mortuary, and the injured were taken to the same hospital for treatment.
The injuries ranged from fractures, cuts, and bleeding.
Police filed a case on the accident and reported to the Public Prosecution office to conduct further investigations, and ordered to delegate a traffic committee to examine the car to explain the cause of the accident.
