President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stressed Egypt’s firm stance towards Somalia and its support for the security and stability of the Horn of Africa country.
Sisi’s remarks came in a phone call that he received on Tuesday 2/1/2024 from his Somali counterpart Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, as they discussed the regional situation, said Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi.
The two leaders also probed ways of fostering joint cooperation and coordination in different fields, especially in light of the historical bonds between both sisterly Arab countries.
