Sisi receives Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces

 

The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received on Wednesday from Lieutenant-General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, in the presence of Lieutenant-General Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production, as well as Mariam Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the UAE in Cairo the Chief of Staff.

Egyptian presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said that President Sisi stressed the fateful relations between Egypt and the UAE, and what they represent as a pillar for the stability of the Middle East region and the entire Arab world.

For his part; the Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces expressed his honor to meet President Sisi, stressing the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.

He pointed to UAE’s keenness to strengthen the frameworks of strategic cooperation between the two countries at various levels, especially with regard to the exchange of experiences in the military field.

 

The process of joint work and intensive coordination with Egypt on various regional and international issues.

It was agreed during the meeting to continue strengthening coordination and regular consultation between Egypt and the UAE with regard to military and security cooperation, in complementarity and harmony with the bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields and levels, in a way that is in the interest of the two brotherly countries and peoples, and in a manner that also supports the bonds of Arab solidarity.
