Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Sunday evening received a phone call from the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
The Egyptian presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady said that the call discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
The Spanish Prime Minister affirmed his desire to advance prospects of cooperation with Egypt, especially regarding investments, to enhance the success of existing Spanish projects in many sectors in Egypt such as transport, renewable energy and other developmental areas.
President Sisi praised the friendly relations between Egypt and Spain, and said his country is eager in developing them further. He noted that both countries hold great potential to achieve an integrated development partnership.
