President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a meeting on Tuesday with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the second edition of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which is hosted by Jordan, according to presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.
The meeting took up a number of bilateral cooperation files, he said, adding that the Egyptian and French leaders exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern and discussed the topics tabled on the Baghdad conference agenda, stressing their keenness to cooperate and coordinate efforts to assist in strengthening the foundations of stability and security in Iraq.
