President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in the UAE on Saturday to offer his condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, late President of the United Arab Emirates, announced Egyptian presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady.
The UAE News Agency, on Friday, announced the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
Sisi also congratulated Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his assumption of power as President of the United Arab Emirates.
Rady said that Sisi expressed his best wishes for Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to succeed continuing the path of development and prosperity for the UAE, and to complete the rational policies achieved by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as an extension of the path of prosperity established by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
