PARIS, June 22 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday held a number of side meetings on the fringe of the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact in Paris, said Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi.
The spokesman added that the president met with President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen, President of the World Bank Group Ajay Banga, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani and President of the Union of Comoros and the African Union rotating chairman Azali Assoumani.
President Sisi also met with Jeffrey D. Sachs, a world-renowned professor of economics and Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley. (MENA)
