President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi headed on Tuesday morning to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia for an official visit, announced the official spokesperson for the Egypt’s presidency Bassam Rady.
The visit comes as a result of the strong ties of Egyptian-Saudi relations and cooperation between the two countries at all levels, Rady said.
During the visit, Sisi will meet with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia/Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss close bilateral relations between the two nations.
The talks will further discuss joint coordination on various issues and common interest, which requires concerted efforts to protect Arab national security, Rady added.
