Sisi delivers Award for Best Governmental Applications in Dubai

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Monday delivered the Award for Best Governmental Applications to winners on the fringe of the World Governments Summit 2023, currently in session here.

Earlier in the day, Sisi arrived in Dubai to take part in the WGS which runs for three days with the participation of a large number of major billionaire corporates specialized in technological applications, artificial intelligence, e-commerce and sustainable management of resources

President Sisi handed over the golden award to a winner from India for an application of the Indian Institute of Technology in Indore which allows its users to provide digital bills on all the transactions via scanning a code.

He also handed over the silver award to a winner from Uzbekistan from Inha University in Tashkent for an app which urges people to sell extra food and drinks in order to limit waste.

As well, Sisi gave the bronze award to a winner from India over “Farmit” app which is one of the best governmental applications that allows supporting the local farmers via planting a wide-range of crops.
