Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (SIDPEC), a petrochemical company in Egypt, announced the resumption of operations at its plants on Thursday, after receiving feed gases.
In a statement on Thursday, the company stated that it had begun receiving feed gases and starting up the plants.
The company had announced on Tuesday that its plants had been shut down due to gas supply disruptions.
Over the past two days, more than one Egyptian company has announced the suspension of its plants due to gas supply disruptions, including Abu Qir Fertilizers & Chemicals, Kima, and MOPCO (Misr Fertilizers Production Company).
