Lighter rainfall is expected along the Mediterranean and in the Nile Delta region and Canal cities. Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, and Luxor should all see precipitation on Friday.
Heavy and active winds will accompany the rain, with waves in the Red Sea ranging between 3.5 and 4.5 meters.
Saturday will kick off with fog along the northern coast and the Nile Delta region, Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
Friday’s rain will ease up and just cover the mountain ranges of the Red Sea and South Sinai.
