Essam Shaaban, the director of the new Ramadan series "Donia Gedida" has completed the shooting of an important scene, depicting an Islamic wedding between a daughter of a Muslim Brotherhood leader, played by Reem Helal and an officer at the National Security Agency, played by Mohamed Nagary.
"The role I am playing in the series is a daughter of a hardline leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. She faces problems after she falls in love with a National Security Agency officer and marries him," said Helal, adding that "the series tackles the current situation in Egypt in a way close to reality."
She pointed out that the series is being produced for more than one channel.
