A shipment of smuggled ancient Egyptian artifacts has arrived via EgyptAir at Cairo International Airport on Tuesday, coming from London.
EgyptAir President Sameh al-Hefny said the carrier is proud to help preserve Egypt’s heritage.
“We constantly coordinate with the Ministries of Antiquities, Interior and Foreign Affairs to bring back smuggled artifacts from different countries of the world,” he said.
EgyptAir had brought back a shipment from New York and another one from Paris last April.
