Under the new directive, provincial authorities are expanding green spaces, utilizing vacant land along major thoroughfares, and revitalizing town entrances across Sharqiya’s municipalities and villages.
Ground teams have been deployed to oversee regular irrigation, structured pruning, and the planting of new trees as part of the presidential initiative to expand green zones across Egyptian governorates.
Al-Ashmouny emphasized that safeguarding urban foliage and expanding the province’s ecological footprint are essential to raising living standards, curbing pollution, and modernizing the region’s urban landscape.
