Sharqiya governor: “Decent Life” helped develop about 31% of governorate so far

Sharqiya Governor Mamdouh Ghorab underlined the importance of major projects implemented by the state in Sharqiya governorate with the aim of improving educational and health services.

The state injected over four billion LE in establishing new schools in addition to LE 650 million for building new hospitals.

The state also spent LE 1.6 billion for upgrading the youth and sports facilities and services in the governorate.

In a video published by the cabinet information center on social media, he said projects of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” have so far been extended to about 31 percent of Sharqiya governorate as part of the first stage.

He noted that the state spent about six billion LE in Sharqiya governorate for building and developing roads and bridges.

He added that 130,000 projects, especially small enterprises for rural women, were set up.
