Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport receives first two Saudi flights after travel ban lifted

Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport has received its first two commercial flights from Saudi Arabia after the Kingdom lifted its ban on international travel.

Two Saudi Airlines flights carrying tourists from Riyadh and Jeddah touched down in the Red Sea resort city late Wednesday evening.

The airport’s public relations staff speedily conducted arrival procedures for the guests, in line with all coronavirus precautionary measures.

A large number of international airlines have resumed their flights to Egyptian airports after the pandemic prompted many countries to ban international travel.
