The highly anticipated Egyptian series, “Mataam al-Habayeb” (The Lovers’ Restaurant), is set to debut on Shahid on October 3rd.
Crafted by a dedicated scriptwriting workshop, directed by the skilled Essam Abdel Hamid, and produced by Abdullah Abu El Fotouh, “Mataam al-Habayeb” promises 12 episodes of culinary delights and dramatic intrigue.
The series offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of professional cooking, showcasing the intense competition and vibrant personalities that define the industry.
This comedic gem boasts a star-studded cast featuring Ahmed Malek, Hoda al-Mufti, Bayoumi Fouad,Entesar, Islam Ibrahim, Mahmoud al-Bazawi, Aida Riad, Sami Maghawri, Hamza al-Eli, and a host of talented guest stars.
This isn’t the first time the dynamic duo of Ahmed Malek and Hoda al-Mufti have shared the screen.
They’ve previously collaborated on several projects, with their first being the 2020 film “Rass al-Sana” (New Year’s Eve).
The pair reunited in the 2021 series “Bimbo”, also on the Shahid platform.
Following their successful collaboration in the 2022 blockbuster film “Kira & El Gin,” which grossed LE120 million , they teamed up again for the crime series “Tahqiq” (Investigation) in 2022, released on the Watch it platform.
