Egypt braces for severe, harsh weather as a low-pressure system moves across the region.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has issued a severe weather warning, predicting heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in several parts of the country.
Northern coastal areas, the northern Delta, and the western desert are expected to be the most affected.
Temperatures are set to drop significantly across the nation – Cairo will experience a high of 26C and a low of 19C.
The weather will be relatively cold during the night and early morning, but warm during the day in northern Egypt, including North Sinai, and hot in South Sinai.
