
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of a severe new heat wave hitting the country starting on Friday.
The authority explained that most parts of Egypt will experience a gradual rise in temperatures starting Friday, with temperatures ranging from three to four degrees Celsius.
Temperatures on the north coast will range between 30-35C, Greater Cairo between 35 and 38C, and the south of the country between 40 and 43C.
Wednesday’s weather
Hot weather will prevail during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, growing very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and moderately hot on the north coast.
Temperatures will be moderate at night across most parts of the country.
