The Lake Nasser Coordinating Committee decided on Wednesday to suspend seven floating hotels in the lake for violating environmental regulations that prohibit the polluting of the Nile.
Mohammed Mostafa, secretary general of the Aswan Municipality, said the hotels did not collect their sewage in fixed locations as determined and required by the committee, but instead disposed of it in the water.
