Lebanese singer and actor Serene Abdel Nour's new movie, "Sou' Tafahom" (A Misunderstanding), will be in theaters on Valentine's Day.
The romantic comedy stars Abdel Nour, Ahmed Salah al-Saadany, and Sherif Salama. It was filmed in Cairo and Beirut.
Abdel Nour plays the role of a Lebanese woman who owns a candy shop in Lebanon but struggles to find Mr. Right. She finally meets her match, a young Egyptian man, but the challenges and surprises of a relationship soon take over.
In related news, Abdel Nour has recently started filming a TV series for next Ramadan called "24 Carat", directed by Syrian director Laith Hijo.
