Senate Speaker Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Raziq discussed with President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
During a meeting Friday 31/05/2024 with the Uzbek president, the Egyptian Senate Speaker, who is leading a high-level delegation on a visit to the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, in response to an invitation from Senate Speaker Tanzila Narbaeva, reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in a number of fields.
Mirziyoyev began the meeting by sending his greetings and voicing deep appreciation of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, praising the development and real boom Egypt has been witnessing within the framework of Egypt 2030 strategy.
They also tackled means of promoting cooperation in the tourism and scientific domains, especially in light of the formation of a joint scientific cooperation committee between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Counselor Mahmoud Ismail Etman, Secretary General of the Senate, and Dr. Muhammad Shawqi Al-Anani, Member of the Senate.
