The crackdown in Sinai continued on Saturday, south of Arish, as security forces combed the area in search of militants and weapon stores.
Security sources confirmed in a press statement on Saturday that the joint military-police operation in Sinai had continued with military aircrafts combing the region south of Arish in addition to troops and armored vehicles raiding suspected sites.
Preliminary evidence showed that a number of suspects in attacks on checkpoints and security sites have been arrested.
