The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and Turkish Eroğlu Holding signed an agreement to establish Eroğlu factory for DNM Jeans at the SCZone-affiliate West Qantara Industrial Zone.
In a press release, the SCZone said that the project will be built on an area of 62,000 square meters at a cost USD 40 million and provide 2,750 job opportunities to produce 7.2 million pieces of jeans.
As many as 70 percent of the production will be exported while 30 percent will be provided in the local market.
SCZone head Walid Gamal el Din said that the authority had recently managed to attract a number of investments to the SCZone-affiliate West Qantara Zone, adding that these projects will provide job opportunities and directly contribute to reaching development required. (MENA)
