Egypt's ruling military council has said that an overnight curfew will be imposed for the second day in the area surrounding the Defense Ministry in Cairo.
The curfew will be in effect between 11 pm on Saturday until 7 am on Sunday.
The curfew area includes the intersection of Fangari Street with Mahmoud Shoukry Street, Ramses Street to the Demerdash area, and the intersection of Gaish Street with Abbasseya Square.
The curfew in Abbasseya is in response to Friday’s clashes around the Defense Ministry, which resulted in the death of a soldier and the injury of 373 people.
