Police in Sharqiya found the body of a 32-year old Saudi national on the road linking the province with Cairo on Sunday. He had been shot in the head.
Investigators are still probing the mysterious death of the young man whose body was carried to a morgue in the city of Zagazig.
The incident comes two weeks after the Saudi embassy in Cairo warned Saudis against engaging in any financial deals in Egypt without prior consultation with its office. The warning came after a Saudi woman and her daughter were found dead in Minya, after having reportedly approached a local broker to buy a flat.
