Saudi Ittihad to make acquiring Salah its most expensive deal ever

Press reports confirmed that the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club has not given up on its attempt to sign on Liverpool FC star and Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah.

“The Athletic” reviewed the conditions of some stars whose contracts with their current clubs will expire after the summer of 2025.

The site added that the Saudi club Al-Ittihad is ready to make another offer to include Salah within four months from now.

The possible second Al-Ittihad attempt to include Salah would be for 234 million euros in the next transfer period.

If Liverpool were to give the green-light to this deal, they would receive the highest fees in the history of football.

These fees would exceed the fees paid by Paris Saint-Germain, when it acquired the services of Brazilian star Neymar from Barcelona for 222 million euros.
