The Saudi Cabinet has condemned and denounced the Islamic State group's killing of 21 Egyptians in the city of Darnah, northeast Libya.
"The Cabinet unanimously welcomed the UN Security Council resolution last Thursday, under Chapter VII, about the draining of sources financing terrorism, and tightening control on areas under the control of terrorists," said the Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Adel bin Zaid Tarifi on Monday.
Tarifi stressed that his country was at the forefront of countries which called for fighting terrorism and prosecuting its supporters.
