The Saudi Health Ministry announced five new human infections with the Corona virus and the death of two other cases.
Three cases have recovered, the Saudi authorities added in a statement Wednesday evening.
Five new cases of Corona infection were recorded in the areas of Buraidah, Anizzah, al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, the statement read.
Two cases died of the virus in Jeddah and Dammam bringing the number of recorded infections to 862, of whom 368 people died since the emergence of the disease in the Kingdom in 2012, said the statement.
There are three cases that have made full recovery in Riyadh and Dhahran, bringing the number of recovered cases to 479, said the statement. Fifteen are still under treatment, the statement pointed out.
