Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir underlined the importance of benefiting from the business community of the Arab states and Turkey in light of their distinguished political relations.
He stressed the importance of developing a mechanism linking industries of Arab states and Turkey to realize industrial integration to confront international supply chains fluctuations.
Samir made the remarks on Saturday 24/02/2024 during the fifth meeting of the Arab-Turkish Chambers which was held by the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
The meeting is meant to promote development for both Arab and Turkish peoples.
Samir said Egypt has been affected like other world countries by foreign incidents, starting from the coronavirus to the Russian-Ukrainian war and the recent regional incidents.
He urged Arab and Turkish chambers to benefit from new opportunities offered by the Suez Canal axis, the golden license and the State Ownership Policy.
Minister Samir referred also to available investment opportunities, underlining the importance of establishing joint industrial and zones and logistic centers.
