President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received a phone call on Thursday 21/12/2023 from South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit who greeted him on winning the presidential election for a third term in office, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said.
President Salva Kiir stressed the specificity of the relationship between the two countries, stressing the keenness of South Sudan to complete the process of joint cooperation with Egypt. The President, for his part, appreciated the generous communication, stressing the fraternal relations between the two countries, and Egypt’s constant keenness to support South Sudan and enhance cooperation with it in all fields.
