Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said that Egypt would make an “honest”, “independent” probe into the fatal crash of a Russian airliner in Sinai on October 31.
The incident killed 224 passengers and crew. Investigators from Russia and Egypt are still probing the reason behind the crash and have not ruled out an Islamic State-affiliated militant group’s claim it had downed the airliner to avenge Russia’s intervention in Syria.
